We have all probably thrown our handbags - into the bottom of the wardrobe, only to retrieve a misshapen, squashed, ugly mess next time we want to use it. Correct storage of your bag will ensure that it always looks its best - you will then enjoy a long, happy relationship with your handbag! Storage tips: - always store your bag in the dust cover that accompanied it at the time of purchase. This will help to keep it free from dust and marks - store your bag in an upright position with straps protruding from the dust cover. This helps to retain the shape of both the bag and the straps. - non-rigid frame bags (i.e. those that are floppy) should be stuffed with the acid free tissue paper that accompanied the bag at the time of purchase. (I admit this is a bit tedious and sometimes pay the price of leaving the house with a squashed bag!).
